Slim bronze or brass implement with a flat spatula on one end and the teeniest tiniest spoon on the other. Long enough to get right down into the bottom of a narrow necked jar, these are perfect for use with pigments, cosmetic powders or solid perfumes.
Hand forged from bronze rod, these are modelled on Roman examples though would also be a consideration for some later historical periods especially as part of a medical/surgeons's kit. Also exceptionally handy for getting just a little out of spice jars.
Lengths do vary from batch to batch (typically between 10 and 14cm long)as we aim to get the best use out of the bronze available to us, do ask if you have a particular jar in mind and need a certain length. (the very long ones in the picture are brass, which was also in use during the Roman period). May be smooth or with a spiral centre.
