Aran Yarn for Historic Hat patterns £2.50

In multiples of 50g

Specifically chosen to work well with the historic hat patterns offered on this site that call for aran weight yarn, though its also great for other projects too.

This yarn is spun in Britain using original nineteenth century machinery and is a very well behaved yarn. It felts/fulls slowly and steadily, allowing you to full until you reach the density of finish you prefer for your project and it is also very tolerant of being fulled in the washing machine.

We have a range of shades available, let us know what you would like when ordering. We typically have in stock (all undyed shades)
-natural black (an exceptionally deep brown in reality)
-deep brownish grey
-mid brown
-mid grey (not pictured)
-light grey
-natural creamy white (can be dyed with natural or synthetic dyes)
Most of the undyed hats in my shop are knitted with this yarn. Please order sufficient yarn for your project at once, as although I keep good stocks of this, batches may have slight colour variations. Your yarn may arrive in either balls or hanks, multiples of 100g tend to come on commercially wound balls with a tolerance of 2g give or take, for smaller amounts I'll wind off as much as you need for your project.
