Based on our recent research into the composition and fragrances to be found in Victorian soaps, this tallow and olive oil based soap is very lightly fragranced with pure essential oil of West Indian Sandalwood and Damask Rose Oil. The result is a rich creamy lather and just a hint of scent, a good choice for those that don't care for over-perfumed products. (We are planning a version of this with a more overt scent too, watch the shop and it should be out in due course!) This also makes a lovely hand soap as well as being suitable for shaving.

Offered as a round cake of soap, approximately 6cm across by 2.5cm deep. Minimum weight 70g

Tip: if you need this to fit a different sized shaving bowl, the soap when delivered is soft enough to easily grate, then the grated soap can be packed into your dish with the back of a spoon, the first use will smooth the surface.
