Historical Stockings.

Sally’s fascination with knitting through the ages led to the collection of several antique circular stocking machines, now well over a hundred years old, which she uses to make approximations of extant historical stockings.

These are used by costumiers, reenactors, film and theater wardrobes worldwide. Sally also gives costumed demonstrations of these in use, often tied into displays about Wartime knitting.
