Modern Stocking Cap -to order
Inspired by earlier stocking caps but very much a modern take on them. Combining hand knitting with the use of a circular knitting machine, this fine gauge hat in pure wool features a ribbed band, extra length and an exuberant tassel.
Made in your choice of shades, you can specify a stripe pattern (regular stripes in wide or fine bands, or a random stripe as in this example) or just give me a general idea and let me design it as I knit. One size fits most, but it's useful to have an approximate head size so I can do the final shaping on the right sized block.
Made to order. We open the order book for hats roughly once a quarter and shut it again once Sally has enough orders to keep her busy for the next three months. Your order may fit anywhere in that period
